A History of Tanks
This whole aquarist thing started with a yard sale where I saw a 55-gallon glass tank with steel bracing for $10.

Our first saltwater tank was a turnkey tank that someone had to get rid of. We don’t remember any of the specifics now, only that it was our first saltwater tank, full of algae and an angry maroon clownfish.

Over the years there were lots of tank changes, upgrades, downgrades, moves, and inhabitants. We kept African cichlids, guppies, and mixed reef and saltwater-only setups, plus small-polyp stony coral, and more that have since been forgotten.
